1. Monday Night’s Dinner was incredibly delicious and was as follows: kale with onions, cherry tomatoes, yellow peppers, and various seasonings, an open-faced baked potato with dairy-free cheese (one thing I hate about the dairy-free cheese is that it takes FOREVER to melt) & butter, salt & pepper, and a mouthwatering steak.

I was so happy to have leftovers of this meal, and if I were completely okay with it, I’d slap myself for how good it was!

I stuck my whole foot in this meal (if you or your relatives are from the South, you’ll know what this saying means)! And I am happy it turned out the way it did–super YUMMY!

2. Maxine 4th of July Funny Quote . . . because, why not?! I love this character and her sassiness and quick-witted retorts! I thought it would be cool to share a funny quote for today and Maxine is a great go-to for this!

For those of you who celebrate, please be safe, have fun, enjoy your family & friends, and also have some great food, too. Please do not let me read about you in the digital papers/magazines or see you on the news!

Peace and blessings.

1. Wicker Papasan Chair & Footstool are the newest additions to our home. You all know that Jernee commandeers my favorite chair ALL THE TIME and has laid an indefinite claim to it, so I purchased the above Papasan chair & footstool.

Prayerfully, The Little Monster will leave this one alone and let me have a space to fully relax without her taking over.

My best friend was here in March and Jernee hopped right in my chair just before I was about to sit down and my best friend said, “I don’t know why you just don’t get her another chair.” I said I wouldn’t. I even said Jernee has plenty of places where she can park her hind-end, and lo and behold, I’ve bought another piece of furniture, but solely for myself.

We’ll see how long it stays mine and only mine. Lol!

2. A Wednesday Outing is a quick photo I took of myself walking down our building’s stairs to get to my optometrist’s appointment. I took the day off to take care of my eyes and had my last therapy session with my therapist who is retiring.

My shirt (one of the very many my best friend bought . . . I rarely buy my own shirts. She loves to shop and whenever she buys something for herself, she gets me a ton of stuff, too. I’ve ceased arguing with her and telling her not to buy me anything, she’s going to do it anyway. Ain’t no need to waste my good energy. Lol) says “Loved.”, which I am.

It’s also in one of my favorite colors–red. I paired it with a white long-sleeved (I’m always cold while indoors) shirt, dark gray sweatpants, and a pair of red & black sneakers. My crossover purse is black as well.

It was a good day. And I am somewhat partial to this photo. I’m not really cheesing, but I’m smiling enough to show that I am happy, and I was having a fantastic morning.

I Think We’ve Got a Good Thing Here

Jernee Timid: Testing out her new heated pad after I’d given her a trim and a bath.

Remember that heated pad I said I’d order for Jernee?! Well, it arrived yesterday afternoon and The Little Monster seems to enjoy it.

Although her sitting/lying on it for a long time did not occur . . .  she tested it out for about thirty minutes, and while I was cleaning and moving about from room to room throughout our apartment, she’d gotten her little self up and in my chair again.

But at least she likes it! I think it’s going to take some getting used to for her, but she didn’t outright decline lying on it.

If you ask me, that’s a WIN for me. 🤣😆😂 It means she isn’t opposed to having this new item grow on her.

I’ll take it!

1. My new skates arrived on Tuesday afternoon, and I am in LOVE with them! There is nothing wrong with my other skates at all. I simply wanted a pair with sure-grip and rubber wheels, all black.

When my eyes landed on these beauties as I searched Amazon for what I would instantly know as most appealing, they were the pair I decided to purchase after reading about their specs. I cannot wait to take these babies for a spin tonight! And then again on Sunday afternoon!

I’ll report back over the weekend about my test drive in them tonight.

2. Jernee Timid is sharing my chair and electric blanket with me. I should probably be grateful for this as I am certain it may not occur again anytime soon. Lol!

She loves my chair and the electric blanket–so much so, I’ve carted a doggy heated pad for her I found via Amazon. I’ll purchase that tomorrow.

I have a lot of pictures of her commandeering this chair and blanket, and I’m sure there will be many more! She likes what she likes.

She has so many places to sit in our apartment; places catered to her and to myself as well, yet the one piece of furniture I want for myself, she will not let me have. Whelp, what are you going to do?! 😂🤣😆

Live and let live, I guess.

All AI’d Out

Uncanny, right?

I am not into AI like that, not really. I am actually afraid of what it can do and how far it will go.

My best friend, however, loves tinkering with the known-unknown, and she did a few entries of me in some AI app (don’t ask me cuz I do not know, 🤣😂😆). And the results are frightening yet intriguing, too.

I want to share a few here so you guys can see the results. There are also some toddler versions of my AI’d self as well.

Enjoy. Or, maybe don’t enjoy them. Either way, here they go:

Silver Fox Tre
Red Carpet Tre I
Red Carpet Tre II
Beach Scene Tre
Runway Diva Tre
Pinup Tre
Toddler Tre I
Toddler Tre II
Toddler Tre III
Toddler Tre IV

That’s all, folks. There isn’t anymore. 🙏🏾💙
