As I emerge from the Dark Ages, I share with you, my LinkedIn Profile.
This could be an adventure. It could be a total flop. But I know I want to increase my chances of having my writing come across the eyes of a publisher or a high-brow columnist with abundant connections.
I will not know unless I try, right? Right.
When all you have to do is sit around and look pretty, I guess you can afford to laze about all day while others take care of you and everything else. Lol.

Author’s Note: This is a burden at times. I’ve gotten better about setting boundaries on what I will and will not do as requests completely out of my job description, but when folks know you can do something and do it well and are responsible too . . . Well, many tend to use you for what you can do.
I will be the first to admit I’m wrong when I am wrong. I cannot tell you the number of patients with whom I speak on a daily basis who are adamant about having their radiological services rendered with us when in actuality, those services have been with another entity. It’s okay to admit you’re wrong, especially if you go to multiple places to have your medical needs met. It’s really okay. My co-worker and I handled the issue accordingly. In the end, the patient was informed of where she had her imaging done based on her description of the location and advised to reach out to them for her medical records—but she really just couldn’t believe she was wrong.
