damn heathens.”
Grandma’s voice rang
loudly in our ears.
As she ages, there’s no
hope for discretion.
She has no #filter.
When she feels it,
she’s going to
say it.
And everyone will know.

cracking with each pace
this is America
land of the beaten
home of the
lied to & ostracized
bent over & bastardized
