“Give an #inch
& they’ll take a mile,
damn heathens.”
Grandma’s voice rang
loudly in our ears.
As she ages, there’s no
hope for discretion.
She has no #filter.
When she feels it,
she’s going to
say it.
And everyone will know.

So true. My husband read that the brain cells that govern tact are the last to form in the child and the first to go in the aged.

I can believe that. That’s why kids and our beloved elderly or aging tell it like it is. Lol!

Tact and diplomacy seems to diminish with age. I know full well!
