He brings peace to us
A mythical creature that
We know to be true.
Embraced by us all
He saunters in every life
Making it better.
We are forgiving
When he doesn’t come around
It’s what we do best.

Are we really that good at forgiving? Some of us more than others, I presume. 💙

For the context of this poem, I’d like to believe that we are, that we can be. But overall? Nope, some don’t know how to forgive and most don’t want to.
