Overachiever
A one-line poem
Managers within my department know my work ethic–they can count on me–I have what they’re looking for; overachiever, can’t turn it off, even if I wanted to.
Author’s Note: This is a burden at times. I’ve gotten better about setting boundaries on what I will and will not do as requests completely out of my job description, but when folks know you can do something and do it well and are responsible too . . . Well, many tend to use you for what you can do.
