it with precision and purpose.
being friends first helped us.
and although a “yes”, is not
the answer . . . the door is n o t
closed to further discussion.
the crush crushes, too.
and loving me is important to her.
losing me she doesn’t want to see.
I now know the gift of being
held in high regard by someone
who secretly crushed on
me, too.

I am, too. It’s going to help both of us. We don’t want to lose each other and our friendship is so much more important, but it has opened up an entire channel of conversations we needed to have. And with her being straight and me TOTALLY bisexual, she fears she’d be too inexperienced and that would disappoint me. I’m just happy to be in her presence, really. I don’t need much else.

And the perfect season for love to bloom. I love how thoughtful you both are, mindful not rush things. I wonder what that’s like? I’d have probably fumbled the bag far sooner, if I had to entertain thoughts of a new crush in these modern times.

It has been a struggle (for me because even though she could feel she was my crush, she just does something to me that keeps me super nervous and I couldn’t tell her Lol!)! And even though we want to hold on to our friendship so much more, this reveal is bringing us closer. At this point, we’re not traveling down the relationship road, though. There’s far too much at stake to lose if we lose our friendship. And she’s legit straight. So, there’s that. But she left the door open for us to speak about it again if we need to.
I mean, I’ll take it. And thank you!
