My grandmother’s baby sister, Marguerite (Aunt Ree). She is 86. I love this woman with a love that will not/cannot fail. She is the very reason why I still write and read as much as I do. She was so happy to see my mother. Although my parents have been divorced since I was 12 years old (I am 45 now), they had been together since they were teenagers, and I was the FIRST result of their teenage love. A photo of the three of us. He, too, was very happy to see my mom. Although my grandmother, great-aunt, and great-uncle all have dementia, their long-term memories are still intact. So far, my trip to Savannah, Georgia (my hometown) has been a blast! I am happy that I have been able to see as many people as I have, and I am grateful that I will see many more today. I am having fun, and my mother is, too!
