Have you gotten your copy of my new book: a collection of serial tales & flash fiction, Séduire (E-Book and Paperback) yet?
I recently signed up to write on Substack as well. Poking the Bear’s Belly for Fun is a place of healing as I speak about the most recent events with my place of employment as it pertains to racism and discrimination. I welcome your visit.
Love the dumpster fire image. Great work!

That perhaps we’ll all be Kintsugi’d into
something greater is a great way to see how we might evolve. I hope so. This is wonderful trE. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

Tre, this is raw and unflinching. That image of stepping on the weight of the days “as if it were an annoying insect” really struck me.
Also—just curious—why did you post the poem as an image? You can indent lines easily using the ‘verse’ block on WordPress.
Much love,
David

WP blocking doesn’t do the lines the way I want them done once the poems are published. Something is always off, so I create the images, instead.
And, thank you for your assessment of the poem, David. 🙏🏽💙
