Also, today is Jernee Timid’s 17th birthday! The Little Monster is still here! There is not a day that goes by that I am not in awe of her. She brings me peace. She gives me joy. And to this day, she still makes me laugh. I wouldn’t trade her for anything!

Ah, I am only doing 2-3 days per week for Substack, and the focus is solely on everything that will transpire and has already taken place with this current work situation.
The publication is for that only. I am certain I’ll probably be done with everything pertaining to it by the end of this year. 🙂 I’ll keep it to actually continue to write about my transition from this current position and how I’ll be fairing in the new role which should happen in the next month or so. *Crosses fingers*

The quote is so true. Losing a friend is just as heartbreaking as losing a significant other. Happened to me around the time my mom was in the hospital. I saw it coming but didn’t want to acknowledge it. I just kept trying to make things work. Slowly, she began ghosting me until she was gone. It hurt! I thought she would be one of my lifelong friends, but I should’ve known. She kept dropping hints about me leaving her behind and us being different. It’s been almost two years, and I am just now getting over the pain.😩
Anyhoo… HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY, Jernee Timid!!🎉🎉🎉 Be sure to spoil her. Lol

I know how it feels to lose a close friend. It can be life-changing and the saddest thing you’ll experience. Especially if you’ve spent years investing in their heart and giving them your time.
And thank you! She’s definitely getting more attention today. I don’t think she likes it, though. Lol. If left up to her, she’d just sleep the day away! 😆😂🤣
