I have had such a relaxing weekend, yet one fraught with concern. I have been in total prayer mode for my nephew. My brother has been keeping me updated. He and my oldest niece have sickle cell anemia. My brother and I have the trait, however, we are not carriers.
I’ve always been mindful of who I dated, when I was actively dating, knowing that I’m 1/2 of a detrimental factor for offspring. My brother, not so much. But . . . he knows and understands what’s at stake now.
Thyrie is such a little man. He’s a ball of joy and curiosity. I have been asking God to keep him around for a very long time. Maybe he’ll answer that prayer for me.
I hope you all have a great week ahead. Count your many blessings and build on them by blessing others.

Thank you so much! He has been discharged from the hospital, late Sunday night. My brother informed me yesterday afternoon. I am so happy that this is the case. He has been resting and I am sure he’ll be up and about and up to no good soon.

oh your poor little guy looks miserable and I’m soooo sorry, trE. Sending prayers.. I made oatmeal and a baked apple for Sienna this weekend but she didn’t like it.. but I ate the whole thing.. lol. Love Z’s food.. did you get a bigger bath? 🛀

All of your photos look wonderful and yummy, and my brother used to use some version of nut pods creamer. I just use stevia and heavy whipping cream nowadays.
You gotta use what you like. 🥰
Also, my blood pressure is stable and not elevated anymore. I told you I would let you know how the smoothies and increased intake of garlic and turmeric were doing.
I’ve been working out as well, so that has helped, too.

Yes, I agree, working out makes everything better. Unfortunately, I still have lots of pain regardless. Trying to get that resolved, but dealing with the VA is so slow!

The VA will make you pull your hair out. Ugh. Prayerfully, they’ll get a move on it, but they’re going through massive changes as well currently.
