I’m so glad you are okay! My mother in law is in Florida and she was keeping us updated as the storm came in. I hope those affected find some comfort and order as the clean up continues.

Thank you for reading. I have two brothers, nieces & nephews, and a cousin in Florida.

Thank you kindly. The worst part is done with my area. I’ve been checking on my people. They’re hanging in there. Thankfully. My folks in Georgia are without power, but my two brothers in Florida have power and are okay.

Thank you! I am, too, my beautiful friend. We’re set to have thunderstorms here later today, which we do not need because people are still recovering from Friday, and some are still without power. This time of year is always tough and go. *Sighs*
It should all be over my mid-November.

Yeah, it was brutal in some parts. My son’s friend said the storm was overplayed. I said, What about the people who died and the people who died trying to help them? He said, You’re making him sound like the bad guy. I said, He is.

Yeah. It depends on the area because toward the west of me, the damage there is catastrophic. My friend’s new home is flooded, so she’s displaced at the moment. She and her two youngest girls. And tons of people are still without power here in NC and Georgia and Florida. This storm did its damage in more places than expected, really.

That’s a lot to deal with. The rains were so heavy here. We’ve never gotten it that bad. Hopefully, all receive the needed support. It will definitely be a process.

Glad you and yours are okay, dear lady! We’ve not heard from my ex and her wife in Jacksonville yet — probably just no power and their phones died. 🤞

Two of my brothers live in Jacksonville. I checked on them Thursday night and yesterday. They are good. They said just some rain and heavy winds. But I haven’t heard from them today.
Prayerfully, Linda and her wife are okay, too. 🙏🏾💙

Thank you, dear lady, I got a text from Linda a few minutes ago. Their power is back (but not all of Jax) and other than some leaves and minor branches, they were untouched. They even took advantage of cancellations on Thursday night to go to a show (she and Carol enjoy the theatre). So all is good! 😊

Thank you! We (me and my little family) were definitely blessed. There is so much damage in my city and people are still without power. This was such a brutal storm!

I’m glad you are okay. My family in Florida had two trees fall and one hit their van and destroyed the windshield. My mom said it could’ve been much worse though. They’re thankful, and their house is okay. 🙏

I have been watching the news, Tre. It is truly frightening to see whole houses swept away as they have been. Keep safe.

The Southeastern Coastal area (and a bit inland), so far.

Thank you! I am, too! Many others have terrible damage with which to deal in my area, and I’m just grateful they’re alive, but I hate that their lives have been shifted like that.
