A Cornered Gurl 
Ignorance…the easiest defense. I see the world changing though. Less and less people are accepting ignorance as an excuse. With each generation I’ve witnessed I see change. It’s not nearly fast enough and not enough is done to promote learning, knowing..but I have so much more hope for the world to come after witnessing these kids all around the world standing up for change. It tells me that deep change is coming and that I may be lucky enough to see real lasting change and growth in the world.

This is BRILLIANT. I think many times, racists do know history and don’t care. I think women haters do know history and still don’t care. Some live for hate. Fortunately the future is not going to keep repeating the past, change does eventually win out. This is so brilliantly written and says everything important.
