Something To Think About #13

The US is the only home you know, yet you’re still treated like you don’t belong here . . .

And, you did NOT commit the crime of which you were originally accused.

Make It Make Sense!!!

I will share “Something To Think About” for the next three weeks on Sunday afternoons. It may be a quote, a picture, an interesting phrase I heard, artwork, etc. Whatever I share will surely be intriguing or involving enough to spark a casual discussion or in-depth conversation. Stay tuned every Sunday for this feature!

Have you gotten your copy of my new book: a collection of serial tales & flash fiction, Séduire (E-Book and Paperback) yet?

I recently signed up to write on Substack as well. Poking the Bear’s Belly for Fun is a place of healing as I speak about the most recent events with my place of employment as it pertains to racism and discrimination. I welcome your visit.

  • Whew!!! I don’t even know what to say anymore. Don’t even know if there’s anything anyone can do to stop this madness. As I said in my post, “God, we need You.”😩

    • I am in agreement about this right along with you. Be happy you haven’t lived here in ages. *Sighs* I look forward to the day when I can say the same.

  • This is absolutely disgusting! They knew she’d committed no crime when they stopped her… but “she fit the description” of this administration’s targets.

How many more must suffer before sanity and what is right kicks cruelty and racism back to the rocks they hide under?

I used to be stunned things like this were happening, but then I read comments ‘in support’ of this madness and realize we learned absolutely nothing from the rabid Germany of the 1930s. They may as well spit on the graves of the hundreds of thousands of Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice during the fight to defeat that regime and mindset. Yet, here we are not even one hundred years later seeing fascism trying to rise again, only this time it’s not on foreign soil, it’s right outside our front doors.

    • It hurts right down to the blood boiling my veins – to the core of me. I am so many forms of angry it’s simply indescribable. This administration needs its feet pulled from under it like yesterday. And CONGRESS is pussyfooting around on impeaching this sorry excuse for a president. *Sighs* I am so tired of this nation – so very tired of it.

      • I’m right there with you! To see wrong being blatantly done right in our faces and NO ONE even addressing it, much less trying to stop it, infuriates me and makes me wonder when will adults take charge again. We cannot have a government based in hate and cruelty.
