of my life. grateful is an
understatement.
you are blessed to gift
people your heart and you
do it effortlessly.
I’m so proud to witness
your growth and to say
confidently, “She’s one
of my closest friends, and
I love her.”
for as long as the Lord
sees fit to bond us,
I will sing to the mountaintops
of the beauty of our
friendship, and I hope
the angels hear me
far and wide.

I really love this post. So much of the time (in adulthood) friendships are messed over, taken for granted. We as women (actually even men) are socialized to relate to friends like throw aways in adulthood, what you attend to when there is no great love or children to attend to. For spare time, if you have it. Nothing serious. For fun times or a waste bin for your life tears. Well you can throw some ingredients in a bowl, mix em’ up, shove em’ in the oven sure, but it’s a different kind of cake than if you measure and time it, let it set properly. Bonds are the same, but people rarely care enough to attend to them. So it was lovely, really touching, to read your acknowledgement of your friend. You must be a GREAT friend. ❤

Peace and blessings.”You must be a great friend.” She tells me I am. But I’ll tell you this . . . she is, too. When you’ve known someone for as long as we’ve known each other–the road isn’t easy, it’s a relationship just like any other. There’s give and take, happy and sad, angry and joyful. We move through all of it and now, we still do, but with a bit more grace for each other. And it’s beautiful.

Guuurrrlllll trE, when I heard that on the news last night, I almost fell out of my chair. A car accident at that. Girl, this is getting so scary! She was only in her early 60’s. So, so sad! 😥 I do hope we get a break for a while! 🙏🏼

I hope so, too. I truly do. Yup, and she was the only passenger who died. I believe there were 8 of them in all. 🥺🥺🥺

Yes there were that many passengers and she was the only one who died in that vehicle. I believe she was returning from a performance. I am still shocked. Stay well and safe sis. 🥰🙏🏼🤗
