“Oh Lord… Purify me.”

I hadn’t played in the snow in about four or maybe five years. When Jernee was alive, she loved the snow. She would stick her tongue out and call flakes to her mouth. It made her happy to be in it.
Yesterday, I mourned her some more, but it was the cleansing and renewal that I needed.
We ended up getting 11 inches of snow here in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with Gianna. Our last snowfall that accumulated over 10 inches was December 09, 2018, Diego. He dumped 14 inches of snow in my area alone.

Wow, that’s a lot of snow! It’s pretty, but I’m glad that didn’t happen here. It’s enough for me to just deal with the cold.

I can understand that. It’s rare for us to see these numbers as far as accumulation, but we get enough snowfall and severe cold temperatures in my area of NC to be used to it, at least. Stay warm and dry.

Trust and believe, I’ll definitely be safe and warm. I have to go out later to clear my car. After 11 inches of snowfall, and it’s predicted for most of the day, the temperatures will be in the teens, we won’t make it to above freezing today. I gotta make sure my little Solo will be okay, too.
