The Crush Ramble

How “Insane discernment” Freed Me

This past Sunday, I was kinda feeling myself. Photo Credit: Tremaine L. Loadholt

The audio below is probably one of the most sincere and dearest things to me that I have ever shared here on WordPress or on any other writing platform, for that matter. Take heed–it is lengthy. I appreciate your patience. If you stick with it until the end, I applaud you. Thank you in advance for listening.

The Crush Ramble

Jill Scott: Free Interlude

Have you gotten your copy of SéduireSerial Tales & Flash Fiction at Lulu in E-Book Paperback versions, or Amazon in Paperback (only) yet?

I am on Substack as well. Poking the Bear’s Belly for Fun is a place of healing as I speak about recent events with a previous place of employment, as it pertains to racism and discrimination, growth from the transition after resigning from that company, and life’s foibles and overall experiences. I welcome your visit.

    • The audio file or the actual video from YouTube? If it’s the video and you’re viewing it via the WordPress reader, you can click on the additional link showing on the video and it should direct you to YouTube to play the video. Or, you can come directly to my site via “View Post” or “Visit Site,” and click on the video there. I hope this helps. 🙏🏽💙

I’ve also just shared the link here, too. Just in case.

  • Wow! What an experience! I think it’s great that you shared a ramble with us. I feel many can relate. I certainly did. It’s always wonderful to hear your voice and I love Jill Scott too. Feeling free from anything we’ve felt we’ve been hiding behind or in is always the best feeling. 💜🩷

    • Yes, it is! And we were able to talk today, and I got a LOT off my chest, and now that I know she’s safe, and what the game plan is for her, I feel better. But I still stand on what I said; totally unattracted now.

Jill Scott is that CHICK! YES!

  • And did!!!! Because I wanted to know what lured you in and held you captive for 5 years. That’s pretty remarkable but I will say this, when we ask God to reveal something to us we better be ready and follow his lead. It may not be what we wanted him to reveal to our heart but it’s what we need. MORE RAMBLES PLEASE Ohhhhhh and silence means NO!

    • Yeah, the silence I could have handled. I already know what’s up with silence, but there was and still is none of that as well.

We have a unique relationship; friends first, and then it started getting a little intense (for a friendship), which eventually led me to asking her out. There are a lot more details, but many of them I’ve shared in poetic form over the years.

Trust and believe, God doesn’t have to say anything else to me or show me anything else about US, I’m LOCKED IN now, honey, and I’m good. Lol.

  • We can’t live our lives by perhaps, or maybes, it always has to be distinct, yes or no. Love and hugs to you trE, with sincere wishes that there will be that special someone for you in the not-too-distant future, and that it will be a resounding yes for you. 🤗💛

  • 💚💚💚 You have a soft, gentle speaking voice that requests but does not demand attention. A short tour around the heart and mind of Tre. 😊

    • Thank you, Jack! 🙏🏾🩵 You are used to this voice now, though. I do appreciate you. Please hug Deb for me, and get her to share another with you, too.

  • I listened to your ramble. How you opened up your heart to listeners here. And I concur— only a yes is a yes. No two ways about this. And best to be assertive; sorry to say but that crush of yours is a bad fit for you, she’s up for lots of loneliness. I’m sure you’re in a better place now. And God on your side? Yay! Onward Christian Soldier ( I hope this phrase is not offensive).
I’m glad to see how this revelation has righted you. More power to you, girlfriend. Now you know what you didn’t know. I’m confident you’ll be okay. 🤗 Be well.

    • Thank you, Selma. I had to learn things the hard way. It had to hit me this way because it was her. I had to re-center myself and pull myself to where I needed to be so as to NOT become delusional. Some people aren’t for me, and I’m not for some people, and as hard as that can be sometimes, it is what it is.

      Peace and blessings.

  • Actually, this wasn’t that long at all. I listen to YouTube videos several times a day that are much longer than your ramble.😊

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I wish things had turned out differently. I pray your next crush crushes on you too. You deserve a beautiful love story. Stay hopeful and keep your heart open. The right love will find you.💕🌸

  • Okay, so what do I win? I listened to the whole thing lol

Just kidding. All jokes aside, you deserve so much better. I also resonate with the last part. My sister and I call it abundant clarity (when you ask for a sign and you get one that’s undeniable).

Sending you some light vibes ✨
