a tableau poem

two loud thunderclaps
s p a n k e d the Friday sky
distracted from work
I looked up to see
a blend of colors
had birthed two rainbows
I learned about this form recently while reading an example at The Skeptic’s Kaddish, and I instantly fell in love with the tableau.
Excellent, trE! I really should revisit this form – I only employed it that once for the d’Verse prompt… Yours is beautiful.

Two. It made me tear up, to be honest. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of seeing rainbows.
