death is a character;
a menace, terror, and unfocused
nuisance
yet we yield to
its power
who would we be
if we tried to
fight it–how much time
would we waste
no one knows
and no one wants
to know

Yes, it is. Well said. It’s a nuisance indeed.

Knowing it’s inevitable, doesn’t make it desirable ☺️

That’s very true. I don’t know . . . I’m at a place in my life where I’m kind of like, “It can’t be any worse than living. I mean, one would be totally at peace.”

The world is a much better place with you in it, Tre. Sounds like you’re in your head too much, which can happen when you spend too much time alone. I know for me, I have to get out of this house several times a week to remain sane, lol! Feel better! 🤗😘

Lol. I doubt that, Kim. I’m actually just stating what I believe is a fact. Many of us shun away from speaking about death. It’s not a bad thing. It’s a natural thing. And really, I’m sure it’s much more peaceful than struggling through life’s trials all the time and dealing with the craziness of the world. Plus, I get enough outside and visitation time with family and friends. I’m good.

Good, because I mistook what you said for being ready to “go” and got concerned. I know none of us know when our time will be up, and I’m also at peace about going, but I guess the control freak in me wants it to be on my terms, lol. As if! Ha! I want what most of us would, to be with my husband, to see my kids grown and know their life is going in the right direction, to finally be a part of my grandkids lives before I am taken, but we can’t predict the future, unfortunately.

This is true, we cannot predict the future. Haha. No, ma’am. All good on this end. Peace, Kim. Enjoy your evening.
