Haiku, 3 Parts

caught the sun today —
placed it on a pedestal
and watched it burn bright
perfect clouds hovered,
waiting for their chance to shine —
sun would not bow down.
clouds questioned the sun,
“when will your reign be over?”
sun did not respond.

Ah, love this. Great haiku and Sun has no reason to respond to such foolish questions. One would think the clouds should already know the answer…

If there is such a thing called picture perfect, this is it! I love the picture. And the 3 part haikus? Lovely words which depicts strength and each part can be read as standalone too. What a piece!
