Nothing is new anymore
The same events rotate
And cycle back into view
Every bit of it
Making my weary bones
Crack from the ache
Escape from it all
Would take a change that
Will never come
Not in this lifetime

Running in circles…. so annoying especially when we don’t get why…

perpetual ground hog day (the movie) is how I see the sorry state of the news these days, I’ve actually begun to read the comics for some simple amusement. ❤

You have your finger on the pulse of how I feel. This is very real.

This post reminds of a feeling I often land at Tre – the feeling of going around so much life and back again – after some rounds we recognize that the events change but kind of choose the same roller coaster that brings us back to the same spot we started. It does take a certain resilience to keep going through it all!

It does… it takes a lot of prayer on my end as well to stay sane. Thank you for reading, Pragal.

I think we can escape by turning away from social media and living in the real world. I loved the idea of nothing being new I think that all the time that’s why I read the news rather than watch it, they actually repeat it frequently and it’s obscenely simplistic and biased and misses so much. Great post for these time’s we’re in.

Thank you. It was rejected by a literary magazine. I figured I’d post it here.

Love this bit here. The inescapable repetition yet there is hope for change in the future. Thank you for sharing
